This was the scenario my team faced when tasked with creating a comprehensive payment integrity platform. We needed a system that could maintain, track, and monitor the performance of payment concepts across multiple payers and programs. The stakes were high—millions in potential overpayment recoveries hung in the balance.
After careful analysis, we chose to build. The result was CoMaSy (Concept Management System), an end-to-end solution that transformed our payment integrity operations. This platform now manages the entire lifecycle of payment concepts—from ideation through development, performance monitoring, and recovery tracking.
Creating CoMaSy required deep understanding of both healthcare payment processes and modern technology architecture. We designed the system to handle complex scenarios across development environments and client implementations, supporting both post-payment and pre-payment audits across six different programs.
One of the most powerful features is the performance analytics module, which generates detailed reports for leadership, ideation teams, operations, and development. These insights drive continuous improvement in concept effectiveness and recovery rates.
The system’s modular design allows for adaptation to changing requirements and integration with other systems. As payment integrity rules and methodologies evolve, CoMaSy evolves with them, ensuring our technology never becomes a limitation.
